Planning settings
Planning settings shape every reorder suggestion and overstock flag. They're on Inventory › Settings, and changes apply when you save.
Stock to keep

Lead time
How many weeks a reorder takes to arrive: 1 to 52, default 6. Variants use their vendor's lead time when there is one (see Vendors below).
Count Shopify's incoming stock as already ordered (on by default) adds stock from transfers and purchase orders to supply, so you don't reorder what's already on its way.
Sales trend
How much the last 4 weeks count against the last 13 when working out sales per week:
- Steady
- 40%. Smooths out spikes.
- Balanced (default)
- 60%.
- Quick to react
- 80%. Follows recent sales closely.
Plan for the season ahead (off by default) looks at how each product type sold a year ago. It compares the weeks ahead (lead time + safety + cover) with the 13 weeks before them, and scales the sales rate by that, from a quarter to four times. Coats get bought up ahead of winter, and swimwear stops being reordered in the autumn. It needs a full year of sales history; until then, nothing changes. The stock lists show the factor as Season ×1.8.
Vendors
For each vendor, you can set:
- Lead time
- Weeks from ordering to stock arriving, instead of the default.
- Packs of
- The vendor sells in packs of this many. Reorder suggestions round up to whole packs.
- At least
- The least the vendor takes per product. Smaller suggestions round up to it.
- Where purchase orders go when you send them from Relvello.
New products
A new product has no sales to plan from. Link it to a product it's like, with a share of that product's sales (say 80%). For its first 13 weeks, each of its variants is planned at least at that share, split evenly across them. After that it goes by its own sales. Linked products show Like … on the stock lists.
Bundles
Bundles made with Shopify Bundles are read with your catalog. A sold bundle counts as a sale of each product in it, times its quantity, so the products in it get reordered. The bundle itself is never suggested for reorder.

If your values don't match a preset, the Custom tile is selected.
