Overstock and stale stock
The Overstock page lists stock that will take too long to sell, and stock that hasn't sold at all, with what the excess cost you.
Two reasons a variant appears
- Overstock
- Its weeks of supply are above your Overstock after setting (26 weeks with the Balanced preset).
- Stale
- It's in stock, hasn't sold within your Stale after window (60 days with Balanced), and the product is older than that window, so new arrivals aren't flagged.
Filter by reason to see one or the other. Change the thresholds in Planning settings.
Columns
| Column | Meaning |

| Weeks of supply | Available stock ÷ sales per week. |
| Last sale | When the variant last sold. |
| Sell-through 13 wk | Units sold in 13 weeks as a share of units sold plus units on hand. |
| Excess | Units beyond what your lead time, safety stock and cover would need. |
| Excess at cost | Excess × unit cost: the money tied up. |
What to do with it
Common next steps: mark the product down, bundle it, or move it up a collection with a boost so more shoppers see it. Export CSV downloads the list with your filters applied.
