Pins and boosts
Pins and boosts are per-collection overrides on top of ranking. Open Collections and click Edit on the collection you want to change.
Pins
A pin fixes a product at a position in the collection's Featured order, from 1 to 500. Everything else ranks around it.
- Pin a whole product, or a single variant or color card when the collection shows cards by color or variant.
- Up to 100 pins per collection.
Boosts
A boost lifts a product toward the top without fixing its place. Choose how far: the top 5%, 10%, 25% or half of the collection.
Boosted products still move with the ranking inside that range, so a boosted product that stops selling drifts down within it. Up to 200 boosts per collection.
What shoppers see
The collection page shows a live preview of its first products in Featured order, with Pinned and Boosted badges. You can pin or boost straight from the preview.
When changes go live
Pins and boosts apply as soon as you save.
Pins and the shopper's sort. Pins and boosts shape the Featured order. If a shopper picks another
sort, like Price or Best selling, that sort applies instead.
