Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Relvello LLC, a South Dakota limited liability company ("Relvello", "we", "us") covering your use of Relvello's website, dashboard, APIs, storefront integrations and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it, and "you" means that business.
1. The Service
Relvello helps Shopify merchants control how products are ordered in collections, power storefront search, manage swatches and promotions, and measure how shoppers interact with their store. Relvello is in early access: features may be incomplete, may change, and may be removed as we develop the product.
You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for business purposes.
2. Accounts and organizations
- Give us accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly at support@relvello.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Your account belongs to an organization. Its owners and admins control who is a member and what they can do. You are responsible for everything done under your organization, including by members you invite.
3. Connecting your Shopify store
When you connect a store, you authorize Relvello to access and act on it through Shopify with the permissions you approve, and you confirm you are allowed to grant that access. Your use of Shopify is governed by Shopify's own terms. Relvello is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify.
Relvello's storefront features are designed to fall back to your store's standard Shopify behavior when Relvello is unavailable. We do not guarantee that every theme or customization is supported, or that fallback will work in every case.
4. Your data
You keep all rights to the data from your store and the content you put into Relvello ("Your Data"). You give us permission to host, copy, process and display Your Data only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information derived from use of the Service to operate and improve it, provided it does not identify you, your store or any individual.
5. Your storefront and shoppers
For information about shoppers on your store, you decide what is collected and why, and we process it on your behalf. You are responsible for:
- Having a privacy notice on your store that accurately describes your use of Relvello.
- Obtaining any consent the law requires before analytics run. Relvello's storefront analytics respect the consent choices shoppers make through Shopify's customer privacy tools.
- Complying with the laws that apply to your store and your shoppers.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful.
- Access data or stores you are not authorized to access, including other merchants' data.
- Probe, scan or test the Service's security without our written permission.
- Interfere with or overload the Service, including through automated requests beyond normal use.
- Copy, reverse engineer, or build a competing product from the Service, except where the law does not allow this restriction.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages, including through team invites.
7. Fees
The Service is currently free during early access. Before any charges apply we will give you notice, and you can then choose whether to continue using the Service.
Paid plans are per store and billed through Shopify, on the same bill as your other apps, under Shopify's terms. Each plan includes a number of storefront requests a month (a collection load, a search or a search suggestion). On monthly plans, requests past that are charged at that plan's rate per million on our pricing page. Yearly plans are paid in advance and aren't charged overage. There is no free trial; refunds follow Shopify's app billing rules. You choose and change plans in your Shopify admin; cancelling stops future charges. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.
8. Our property and feedback
Relvello, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Third-party services
The Service works with services we do not control, such as Shopify, Google sign-in and your store's theme and apps. We are not responsible for those services, and your use of them is governed by their terms.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Relvello available and reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during early access. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a chance to export data where practical.
11. Termination
You can stop using Relvello at any time by uninstalling it from your store and asking us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first. After termination, we delete Your Data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections 4, 8 and 12 through 17 continue to apply after termination.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any particular sales, conversion or search results from using the Service.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Relvello will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales or data, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Relvello against third-party claims arising from Your Data, your store, your use of the Service in breach of these terms, or your violation of law, including claims by your shoppers.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in South Dakota, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will notify account owners by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
17. General
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Relvello about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
